Insider Knowledge of the Outdoors

Born and raised in South Florida, I considered the swamps of the Everglades my playground. In 2015, I made a cross-country move to the Pacific Northwest, and I’ve never looked back. Here, among the expansive Cascade Mountains, towering old-growth forests, and rugged coastline, my love for the outdoors only grew. I’m an avid hiker, backpacker, skier, hunter, forager, angler, gardener, conservationist, and public land defender. I know the land, the gear, the risks, and the terminology in a way that only comes from countless hours spent outside.
